How To Calculate NOUN School Fees Payment Per Semester

Semester compulsory fee + NOUN Course Registration Fee + Exam Registration Fee = NOUN School fees

    Let's assume you have
    four 3 unit courses
    four unit courses

    Remember, that:
    3 unit course registration fee = N2500
    2 unit course registration fee  = N2000
Exam Registration fee = N1000 per course
100 Level First Semester Compulsory fee = N36000

    Therefore,
    4 x 3 unit courses ( 4x2500) = N10,000
    4 x 2 unit courses (4 x 2000) = N8,000
    8 courses x 1000 (Exam registration fee) = N8,000

    So,
    10000 + 8000 + 8000 = N26000

    Now,
26,000 (Course/Exam registration fee) + 36,000 (First semester undergraduate compulsory fee) = N62,000 (Total school fees)

That's how it works when calculating Noun university school fees.

You can use this same method to calculate all NOUN Semesters' school fees both undergraduate and postgraduate school fees.

NOUN SCHOOL FEES FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    1. Is Noun school fees per session or semester?

    Per Semester

    2. Can I pay my Noun fee on installment?

YES. But first payment should cover compulsory fee (acceptance fee), and or course registration. You can Then pay for exam registration fee later.

Don't pay at all, when you know that you can't afford the school fees within the stipulated time.

Yes.because if you pay for compulsory fee alone and fail to pay the remaining amount before its closing date, you should know what it means.

    3. What if I didn't complete my payment before the closing date and have paid the compulsory fee and course registrations?

The money will be in your Portal. but you won't be a part of that semester.

    4. How many times students pay school fees in a year?

2 times. That's First semester and Second semester.

    5. Can someone deposit money into his student portal for next semester school fees?

Yes, but not advisable.  In my opinion, the school portal is not yet stable and they could be portal upgrading and stuff like that .. you know.

I would advise you to save the money in your bank account. Pay as you go don't deposit your money into noun portal.

    6. Should I pay a school fee before going for screening?

No, It's SCREENING BEFORE PAYMENT OF FEES. Because It is through Screening that you'll be given a student login information on which you will use to open your student portal through which you generate Remita payment code for NOUN school fees payment

    7. How much is the National Open University school fees per semester?

By Average, NOUN School Fees is in the range of N40,000 - N60,000

    8. What is the closing date for payment of school fee?

Not stated. But normally, school fees payment closes a month to the beginning of Pen on Paper (POP) Examinations.

    9. Is NOUN school fees all the same amount for department and faculty?

No.  School fees are been calculated by the number of courses registered per semester. At some point, the same coursemate might pay a different amount depending on their registered courses.

    10. I paid my school fees but it's showing RRR is not found. What should I do?

    11. Can I pay school fees and also register on the closing date?

Yes, but it is risky. The earlier, the better.

Don't wait for the last day, the network might even be a problem because of too many people on the school website. so please just don't wait

    12. Are there any means of payment without the RRR Number?

    NO

    13. What if I fail to meet up with the payment of my school fees before the deadline of the second semester?

In as much as you have a matric number, you can continue from where you stop next semester. National open university gives you a long time to settle, don't hurry if you can't meet up. We all know things are hard but God will help his people.

    14. Which bank is quick in processing NOUN school fees payment?

    FCMB
    Zenith bank
    ECOBank

      1. It depends on your department. Meanwhile, NOUN admission form fee is N5,000 plus NOUN Acceptance fee/Compulsory Fee of N36,000 which is equal to N41,000.

Then, you pay for Course/Exam Registrations.

Though you didn't state the course you're applying for, but would advise that you should budget for N65,000 for the undergraduate first semester school fees.

Your Noun second semester school fees will be lesser. Say like N35k - N40k
